What does it take to get a little inspiration these days?
There is a lot going on--the tragedy of war, famine, and other assorted horsemen, the glory of everyday heroes. Well, I am cutting thru the treacle and I've decided to go with what I know, movies.
Not just any movie, but one of my all time favorites The Princess Bride (and yes, I realize it's a book too).
The hero needs to storm the castle to rescue the titular bride but he is outmanned, outmatched, and underpowered, with a small team and limited resources. A near impossible goal with almost no resources, success means living happily ever after and failure: a life not worth living.
Now that is some inspiration! And really, unless my partner had a pituitary disorder and I was an ex-pirate, it couldn't be more analogous.
Of course, just getting into the castle isn't enough--that is just the biggest obstacle, the hardest thing to do at the moment, there is still a world of problems once your inside but by then, well, you're inside.
This blog will be the story of me storming the dotcom castle, I don't have a lot at my disposal except for my wits and the odds don't look so good, but I've got a few tricks up my sleeve--its going to be an adventure.
